Hello,
I am trying to use the latest version of maxima (5.28.0-2) to execute the equations in a parametric model created with the IBM Rhapsody modeling tool supported with the PCE profile.
I am able to set my preferences for maxima to point to the location containing the executable. When I open my constraint view, PCE tries to launch maxima and it appears that the maxima
Setup tries to create a temporary folder / file under the Windows directory. I receive the following error message:
"Setup was unable to create the directory "C:\WINDOWS\is-I6HDO.temp Error 5: Access is denied"
The message is not unexpected because we typically do not have access permissions to write to the Windows or program files directories on our computers at work.
The preferences dialog does not offer an option to specify the path for the temporary files / directory, and I am not familiar enough with maxima to know of any other way to change the path to a directory where I have write priviledges.
Can you tell me how to change the path that maxima uses for its temporary files / folders?
