As I remember, last time you posted about this, Maxima was just being
used as a language for doing numerics (and is quite slow at that!).

Can you point us to a summary of what's changed in your software
recently? A cursory look at one of the generated Maxima files still
results in something that looks like C, but maybe there's something
going on "under the hood" that I'm missing?
