Hi,
maxima-online.org will not work with plotdf, because they are forcing
all plots to be done with Gnuplot, and they add some specific terminal
(I guess png?) using gnuplot_term. plotdf only works with Xmaxima as the
graphic driver, rather than Gnuplot, and it depends on the tcl/tk
toolkit in Xmaxima to work as an interactive program. I know it is easy
to use tcl programs as cgi scripts via Web, but I do not know whether it
would be possible to put xmaxima on-line or not (just as a graphics
driver, not as a command interface). You should report this problem to
the administrators of maxima-online.org.
