There is a pdf in /share/contrib/gf. In addition there are two files
about AES which show the gf functions in action.
The gf package is work in progress. I improved, added and changed a
lot in the last weeks. I do not feel at the moment that it is now the
right time to write a more detailed, official and final documentation.
I am still working on the code.
But I think the mentioned pdf is a good point to start. Please give it
a try and let me know what you experience and if there is something I
could do better.

If I understand right you ask for packages which are not mentioned in
the official documentation.
There are a lot of packages in /share and /share/contrib which are not
officially documentated. But in most cases these packages come with
their own documentation. Sometimes it's a pdf, sometimes a *.usg or
*.txt file, sometimes there are examples inside of the source file
itself.
An attempt has been made in the last weeks to provide a better /share
documentation. But I don't know what the status quo is at the moment.
