Subject: solving trigonometric equations
I am trying to solve a trigonometric equation (Xsub)? by using the following Maxima command:
solve(Xsub=0, lar);
below is the result:
[sin(lar) =
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? 17/2

I do not want the unknown (lar)? to appear in the rhs of the solution.
Can anyone help me ?
