Indeed.  I don't use this machine much since I have much faster
machines, but it is certainly usable and I've used similar machines to
do lots of heavy stuff like simulating the radio environment of a
cellular network, and demodulation of GSM radio signals.  Of course,
these would run much faster on today's machines, but they were plenty
fast back then.
