Ah, sorry: word with two meanings. What I meant is that I got bored of
trying to convince people to be interested in the branch. I've just got
a new job and have essentially no time right now but, when things settle
down, I intend to spend a bit of time tidying things up into a sane
patch set and building on Windows. Eugh.

Yeah, it's horrible. And I'd quite like to get an SBCL build working
there, since GCL seems essentially moribund (and is far from being a
common lisp implementation). My attempts with Cygwin in a virtual
machine have been hilariously unsuccessful (pathname issues), but hope
springs eternal...
