Many thanks for the hint,
but I still have no luck.
I fetched
cmucl-20020404-x86-linuxglibc22.tar.bz2
cmucl-18d-x86-linux.extra.tar.bz2
and maxima cvs version today (May, 8th)
Trying to build maxima I get
make[1]: Entering directory `/Src/OBJ/LISP/maxima-cvs/src'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `numerical/slatec/zbesi.lisp', needed by `binary-cmucl/maxima.core'. Stop.
This looks as if the slatec library is missing.
What did I miss?
Many thanks,
Helmut.
