It is not objectionable, _if_ it is clearly documented. In the current
release, it is not clearly documented; I have to read the shell script
to figure it out; I gave up after 10 minutes.

A simple DOS batch file (one for each lisp) in the maxima/bin
directory is a good way to document this kind of thing.
