I don't know Kernel Cousin, what is it about?
I meant "tagged with a mark in the subject" line like
[policy] organisation, goals, visions, etc.
[install] installing issues
[user] on using maxima
[devel] on developing maxima
[doc] on documentation
Then, if I'm looking for some answer on, say, how to use arrays, how to do
matrix calculations, how to do substitution into equations, how are
variables scoped, no matter what, I'd only had to look through the digest
tagged [user]...
However, I realise that it may be difficult to draw a clear line, in
this case I'd suggest to include both tags: [user][devel]

ok

Well this will take some time anyway. AND: I don't know much about AXIOM
yet except it is strongly typed. Maybe maxima and axiom serve different
needs? Furthermore, I don't understand the license yet, it does not seem
to be GPL... In any case, I do not have enough time yet...
