Question on Lisp documentation tools

Maybe.  But it's been a while.  (Also a long time ago, I wrote a
simple interface from xref to garnet so that garnet would display the
call tree as a real tree.)

Yes, it can be very difficult.  If you want to try again sometime,
look me up and I'll try to help.  The cmucl-imp list is helpful too.
