Dear All,
however I did not tested the new Windows installer executable, the
original package made by William Schelter seems to work only under Windows
boxes having TCP/IP support. Is this a normal behaviour? What about the
new version? One of my students is writing her diplom about Maxima but she
was unable to install Maxima 5.2 for Windows at her place because she has
a standalone PC without network. At her mother's school on another PC
(with internet connection) she was able to install Maxima (under Windows).
