Dear Stavros,
Many thanks for your message, but still I need to have the help of
some colleague in order that this file could become helpful to me,
who am a novice and naive user of Maxima (at least so far) with
no knowledge of LISP and I need further support with respect to
this file for its possible use by me during my teaching tasks and by
my students at the University and at home.
Jim has done so much with the new release so far (especially for
Windows, we are so grateful to him) and I cannot ask him to
undertake this task too, i.e. to change the "odious" character of
this file in order that it can become more pleasant to me. A
volunteer is required and I (and others too in the future I believe)
will be sincerely grateful to him. Who will be this volunteer having
available time and willing to spend the required time?
Naturally, these are naive comments by a naive user of Maxima
and presenntly I do not know (just I suspect) the truth behind
this strange situation.
In any case, I hope to hear from some colleague in due course.
Many thanks again for your intervention. I am already grateful
to you for your precious help and support.
Best regards from Patras,
Nikos
