Re: a CD with texmacs and maxima

There is really no straight forward procedure to do this. You need to 
install the following pacakges on Xp/2000 some of them require compiling 
from the source.

cygwin
clisp
texmacs
cvs-maxima

update db command posted earlier and texmacs/maxima combination will work.
