New Mailing List - Too much spam

YES!

I tracked all kinds of mailing lists and news-groups during the
last years. There always were periods with a high amount of spam
or useless advocacy and flame wars.
The best way to deal with this is to use a fast console mail
client like pine or mutt (I am using pine), which lets you browse
the subject lines quickly and send all trash to /dev/null with
one key-stroke.
