Solving Partial Differential Equations with Maxima

Dear Maxima Group,

I am a new comer to the Maxima world, and had problems finding out if 
and how Maxima copes with solutions of Partial Differential Equations. 
Is there any additional module for the task, or is there an internal 
function which i haven't found out? I couldn't locate any information in 
the manuals, therefore i think it would be bst if i asked.
