It might have been ok for the 1970's, but surely someone must 
have a way to do better output formatting. 

Is there a global switch so that all output comes out as Latex?

Then does anyone know a good Latex2MathML converter?

Then we go Latex --> MathML --> display in Mozilla !!

Also, I haven't been able to find out -- 
Is there a way to persist sessions/variables when using batch commands ?
