Great!

No problem.

Jim, as head honcho, is probably the logical place, or whoever he
nominates. If you send them to me as well I can upload them to
share/contrib and make sure they have a place in the cvs tree - most
code starts life there and moves out as it is integrated with Maxima.
(In theory anyway - some of our share/contrib code is a lot better than
some of our regular share code, but we plan to change that in the
future.) This will allow people to start playing with it and exploring
it right away, and over time we will figure out the next moves.

Need to be a bit careful here - are you sure you have copyright?
Sometimes being the author isn't enough to ensure copyright for works
done for a university - depending on the circumstances. If you're in
the clear, then I'd say a copyright notice with your name and
information about where/when the initial work was done would be an
excellent idea.

The main body of Maxima is GPL, so either should be fine. Thanks much
for being willing to contribute!
