I stand corrected.  I'm pleased if the code is clear (esp if it is mine...)
I saw the example but I was confused as to whether that was before or
after the change.

OH, on the topic of documentation for the other matcher, there is
a description in Moses' PhD thesis, which may be on-line as a Project MAC
technical report at MIT. I couldn't locate it right away, but I think
it is there somewhere.
