FWIW, all of the currently translated files (desoln, elim, invert,
nusum, ode2, trgsmp) can be translated from the original .mac files
and all of the testsuite passes. This doesn't say too much, because I
don't think invert is tested.
rtest1.mac fails during translation because it doesn't know how to
translate
