I see that Barton has looked at a similar bug in Bug 938235:
integrate((1/2)*u^2-1/u^5,u,1,sqrt(2)). I think the issue is the
same: $factor in zmtorat is unable to factor the denominator of the
transformed integrand. Replacing $factor with $gfactor works too.
