There is--the problem is that I'm scrolling to the end _before_ the
rendered output image loads. When the image is complete, it stretches
the cell and pushes the new cell below off the screen. It's on the
list of things to fix...
Thanks for the simplification rules, I tried them in command-line
Maxima and they worked--I'll get them into the web interface as soon
as I can.

Yes, it's a cookie issue. Your session stays active until you close
the window or quit the browser. Adding a "restart" button should be
simple enough, though. I'm also looking into the ability to save a
session on the server and then resume it any time in the future.
