Incorporating the notion of infinity into Maxima in a more consistent
fashion probably needs more thought. For example Mathematica has Infinity
in various directions in the complex plane, not just the two represented in
this + or -. I would not expect the treatment to be entirely complete
since objects like this violate the algebraic axioms used by simplification.
