Hi,
I'm going on vacation untill August 15th, and I will not have an Internet
connection so I will not be able to work in Maxima during that period.
There are two bugs in Xmaxima which will have to wait for 5.9.11 to
be fixed:
1- The figures are not shown in the Spanish and Portuguese html
manual when those pages are seen with Xmaxima's browser. The source
of the bug is that the conversion from info to html creates links
such as ./../figures/plotting1.gif which cannot be parsed by the browser;
if the link were ../figures/plotting1.gif it would work. The
link in the English version is no problem either: ./figures/plotting_1.gif
2- A bug reported by Laurent Courad: in Windows XP, if an input line in
Xmaxima ends with a comma (or period or colon) one cannot return to that
line with backspace to replace that character. It seems to me that it
is a Tk bug in Windows (it works OK in Linux). I could try out a work
around it, but I will only be able to work on it after the 15th.
Regards,
Jaime Villate
