I had some fun with the following statistics. I guess it can't hurt,
if I share them with you, as the data is publicly accessible anyway ...
Grepping over the past years (since Sept 22th 2005) mailing list
archive for "build_info()" and "host type:" and sorting got me the
following:
i686-pc-linux-gnu 5 times
i686-pc-mingw32 6 times
i686-redhat-linux-gnu 3 times
Interestingly, all the messages came from different people, except for
Barton Willis, who submitted 3 of them (all i686-pc-mingw32).
Obviously the sample is rather small - perhaps it would be better to
use the bug database but dunno how to do that.
