help in getting maxima compiled (from cvs) on Dapper

Greetings, and thanks!

I'm pushing through new packages for Debian Etch as we speak. I'm
wondering if you might retry with gcl_2.6.7-25 and maxima_5.10.0-4?
Especially if you have a ppc box to check that that issue is gone.
This was due to a bug in the binutils strip utility -- the built image
was fine, but broke when being stripped for installation.

Take care,
