question about gcd(0,0)

Let Z be the ring of integers.
Saying that g is the gcd of a and b means that gZ = aZ + bZ is a sum  
of ideals (Bezout).
In that sense (only ?), 0Z + 0Z = 0Z means that gcd(0,0)=0...
