Hello,
It looks like there is some cvs activity (some of which I'm doing ...)
so I'll put off making a branch in cvs until, say, April 4 3:00 UTC.
In the interest of simplifying the release process, I'll recommend
that developers try to avoid committing new stuff to the release
branch (but commits to fix problems with the release are always OK).
I think since Maxima seems to be on a regular release schedule
there is less pressure to squeeze any particular item into a release.
