Yes, 8 characters. I always do this substitution when using ascii output from xMaxima.
Is it possible to get an "untabbified" output from xMaxima? This would be great because a
lot of Maxima beginners do not have text editors on their computers which can replace tabs
by spaces.No Windows standard software comes with that option.
wxMaxima outputs untabbified when set to ascii output mode.
