I use the maxima that is packaged in Debian sid (unstable). At the
start up maxima says:
Maxima 5.11.0 http://maxima.sourceforge.net
Using Lisp CLISP 2.41 (2006-10-13)
maxima.el comes with the distribution. My imaxima version is 0.97a
and I use the emacs-snapshot package by Romain Francoise (emacs
version: "GNU Emacs 22.0.99.1 (i486-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d
scroll bars) of 2007-04-24 on pacem, modified by Debian".
Thanks,
