Dear all,
I would like to announce that Imaxima (Emacs graphical UI
mode for Maxima) and Imath (Emacs mode for writing math
text) runs in native Windows environment, WITHOUT using Cygwin.
Specifically, you can use NT Emacs (version 23) or Meadow,
with MiKTeX, the Maxima binary in Windows installer, and the
Ghostscript precompiled binaries to run Imaxima and Imath.
The only prerequisite is to own Windows XP PC at hand. Then
you can follow step by step instructions to complete the
installation.
You may want to visit:

and visit ?Easy Install on Windows XP? for more details.
I would like to hear from you any feedback on these instructions.
