Subject: entering hypergeometric functions in maxima

Can you be more specific about what you want to do with hypergeometric
functions?
"use" and "handle" are not very specific! If you would be happy just to
evaluate them numerically, that is quite different from symbolic
simplification, integration, etc.
If you want to just plot them, perhaps you can do some research and come up
with appropriate formulas!
