It was not very specific, agreed. I am sorry.
Basically I was solving integrals and the solution is in terms of
hypergeometric functions.
I wanted to compare my analytical formula with numerical integration
for sanity check.
Possibly also to plot the behaviour of the integrals depending on some
parameters. For integer values of the parameters in the integral I have
integer values of the parameters in the hypergeometric functions and
hgfred seems to handle it very well so I get much simpler functions but
for non-integer parameters its not so nice. Thats why I wanted to
evaluate hypergeometrics but now I understand its not possible in
general case (or requires writing a script which sums at least few tens
of terms from the series representation).
Of course I also tried few numerically operations on hypergeometrics
just out of curiosity, not much fun alas
