dear group,
wxMaxima is a very fine GUI and I really like it .
Here are some hints to make it even more perfect (in my opinion) :)
Using wxMaxima for demo(onstration), I currently load files via e.g. demo("example.exm").
1.
This way each command resp. input is executed, the output immediatedly shown and stop.
So every time I try to catch the output line with my mouse in a hurry to hide it
contents.
After discussion of the input with the class I show again the output clicking on it
.. then going to the next input ..
If I have not overlooked something, here is my
1. Hint: there should be an option like demo("example.exm", hide),
that will as default NOT show all corresponding output lines.
2.
Using demo(), every output line has color black (perhaps to remember 'we are
demonstrating').

that will as default show the corresponding output line in 'blue'
to help distinguish it from the input line(s).
PS:
wxMaxima is able to put graphic output directly in his GUI.
It would be fine, if one could patch 'extern pictures' into this GUI as well,
which are not killed when quitting the wxMaxima.
This way one could construct more interesting worksheets (currently I hold simultanously
PDF-files opened with further information in a second window).
Maybe wxMaxima 0.73 will surprise me :)
