Implicit_derivative Problem

I'm using Maxima 5.11.0
I'm trying to make use of the function implicit_derivative.
Running the example from the impdiff.mac file, I generate a failure at 
line 36 in impdiff.mac.
I also notice that final function call in impdiff.mac is "munlocal()". 
This may be OK.
If anyone has a simple example of using implicit_derivative(...) perhaps 
  you could post it in a reply to this message.
