Hi Daniel!
Thank you for your suggestion but I would choose
to leave the text unchanged. The whole text
reads:

1. Windows 9x users should read the section
of the readme file on environment space.
2. If Maxima GUI doesn't work read the section
of the readme on firewall.
3. If not only Maxima GUI but also command line
Maxima doesn't work read the section of the readme
on Data Execution Prevention (DEP).

If we rewrite 3 we probably have to rewrite items 1 and 2
as well. Certainly it can be done. But this short
message flashes just once during installation process
never to be seen later. So, IMHO its is OK if it just
refer the reader to README which explain everything
and which is always available in the menu.
