Andrej,
Yes that is the case now, to save a mac file open the wxm file with a text editor
search and delete all occurrences of /* [wxMaxima: input start ] */ and
/* [wxMaxima: input end ] */, delete the DO NOT EDIT BY HAND! header,
delete the "..can not end with.." lines, then save the file with a .mac extension.
A wxm file is not the same as a mac file. A wxm file recreates the console state
at the time the session was saved with all input and output lines displayed.
A mac file saves a function or other wxMaxima capability to my wxMaxima environment.
I wish I knew how to add a (*.mac) option in the "Save as Type" pull down menu that
appears after a PC "File save as" motion and be done with this.
Thanks,
Ed.
