Hello Nie, I think it is OK if texi2pdf and texi2dvi do not work.
At least if texi2html works, we have some useful documentation.
Is there any special instruction for processing Texinfo documents
which contain Chinese characters? We can modify the Makefile
to execute texi2html with appropriate command line arguments.

Hmm, perhaps:
Input.texi, Plotting.texi, Polynomials.texi, Trigonometric.texi,
Integration.texi
Maybe some of the translators for other languages can make a suggestion here.
Another way to approach the translation is to translate only the name
of each function or variable first (and erase all the English text).
Then expand the translation after all items have at least the name
translated. I don't know if other Maxima translators have taken this
approach. It's just an idea.
