A translation of the reference manual to Italian was started
some time ago by Marco Ciampa (ciampix at libero.it), but
I am not sure of the status of the project. Perhaps you can
contact Marco to find out how it is going.
Aside from the reference manual, there are also various tutorials
written in various languages listed on the documents page.

You might take a look at them and see which ones seem the
most informative, and translate them.
Then there are the web pages themselves. We could create
a separate directory (htdocs/it) in the web space and put a
translation there. The web pages have also been translated
to Russian and Spanish.

Yes, if you have it on a web site, please send the link and we will
put it on our documents page. If it is not already on a web site,
you can email the document and we will copy it to our web site.
All the best,
