Johan,
Are you using `integrate' or `dblint' to calculate the double
integral? Can you be more specific and maybe show us the exact
command you are using?
I'm also wondering if it makes sense to ignore the question. If
you are able to give Maxima hints about the sign of some
parameters, then my guess is that it will be able to give you a
cleaner expression for the answer...
