There was a bug in the previous version.  I've uploaded a new one.  I've 
also included quite a few more tests and they pretty much match  the 
Fortran results.

Good point.  I'll ask the author about it.  But mere aggregation doesn't 
imply inclusion under the terms of the GPL.  Perhaps another directory 
of contributions (free or not) would be acceptable, assuming the share 
and contrib directories are actually GPL code.  Or maybe you don't want 
to consider this at all, which is ok with me too.
