I have recently installed the compiled version of sage on an SD card
on an Asus EEE PC. This appears to work well and gives me easy access
to Maxima and a lot of other software that I would have problems
installing on the Xandros Linux operating system. Sage (and TeX-Live)
have turned this bottom of the market laptop into a most useful tool
in a very convenient small package. Both installed without any
problem.
