At that stage it will be way too late already, the registration of the
ISSN would have proceeded, DOI deposit woul have been made and these
deposits are irreversible. The correct way would be to prepare
everything, then post them for "final proofs"... metadata, covers and
all, so people can make a last minute check and have a chance to object
to anything.
