Hi Mario,
did you try a virtual Windows on ubuntu? That would be a realistic test environment. I do it
the other way round: I installed ubuntu in virtualbox (free software, Linux version available)
on my Windows 2000 to learn Linux. Pretty cool. I don't need to shut down the virtual OS. I
can save the current status and within 5 seconds I can start ubuntu that way.
