Problem with Maxima 5.17.1 and ECL 8.12.0

Regarding the problem of "5.17.1/share/maxima/5.17.1"
versus "5.17.1/share/maxima/5.17post":

Perhaps this is just an artefact of using the CVS-version (and
boostrapping it)? In a clisp-installation of plain 5.17.1
one finds the good old 5.17.1/share/maxima/5.17.1.

If this is the case (and with the next distribution we again
have "5.xx.yy/share/maxima/5.xx.yy", then that's not a problem
for me (for my build system this is just a (recursive) make-variable,
which I can override).
