I think that an open source sourceforge project should rely on building
a consensus before making incompatible changes.
In this instance, I vote no. I do not know how others feel, but perhaps
one can find out more systematically.

Note that I am not against "boolean simplification", just against
altering the semantics of the programming language to do it.
