"If no one objects" insufficient?



In the best of all possible worlds, we'd have developers that would
immediately test all putative patches and make perfect decisions. We
don't live there, I think. Instead, folks that can review patches,
should regularly read the commit list:

Or they should subscribe to the commit mailing list. I think that some
open-source projects have grown stagnant because patches pile up (and
even changes to changes). After awhile, the developers become frustrated.
