Subject: write_data spends too much time to create file.

I can report the bug, but what should I tell developers? If they had
to look at the source code of Maxima, maybe they will not be able to
properly focus the problem...
I really know nothing about Lisp, so what kind of Lisp function is
called by write_data? I think that an example is necessary, but I am
not able to write it.
