Ray, could you show me how you produced this error? In which directory
do you build the german documentation? Could you also tell me which
version of perl you have, please.
Also, could you run the script as follows, doc/info/de:
perl ../build_info.pl maxima.info ':crlf' -dump_pl=dump.pl >maxima-index.lisp
and paste the file dump.pl into a pastebin, please.
As I indicated, the script re-produces the english language
maxima-index.lisp in the doc/info directory and it makes the
german one in doc/info/de when the info files are built with
utf-8 encoding.
