Problem with wxMaxima

Hello to everybody,

I am trying to get the pair wxMaxima/maxima running.

In wxMaxima I get the message, that maxima is not running. Clicking "restart 
maxima" does not have any effect.

Maxima itself seems to run under the console.

Can aybody help me?
